Green Dream
No, you're not dreaming! Stephen's newest creation combines strength, beauty and of course, comfort in one affordable, guilt (and VOC) free bed. The bed has an upholstered head board using green fabrics and organic cotton. And it actually looks like it floats across the room.
The Green Dream has a European look with an exposed plywood edge. We like it because it is contemporary and is the most efficient use of timber. Because it requires much less milling, it is also the most resource efficient to build and easy to ship and assemble. Check out a photo album of the Green Dream.
Sleep sound. Sleep green. Dream green.
- The bed is 72" wide and 90" in length.
- The headboard width is 34" tall and 60" wide.
- Available in: FSC Alder, Maple and Birch.
- Fabric options include a rich brown wool or a black ultraleather. The "Terratex wool" is made from compostable wool and is manufactured using increasingly sustainable processes. Wool is completely natural and renewable and is naturally flame-retardant and stain-repellent. There is no heavy metals and harmful residues in Terratex wools from either the dying or finishing processes. Harvested from Kiwi sheep, Terratex wool is raised in an unpolluted environment where strict regulations enforce biodegradable pesticide use. The black ultraleather is a polyurethane alternative to leather and vinyl and is made with a 100% biodegradable backcloth. They capture and recycle 99% of production solvents. It meets the 2005 standards established by international organizations such as Greenguard and Oeko-Tex. Cleans with soap and water.
