The Power of Walnut
FSC Walnut Europly from Columbia Forest Products was used to create this conference table for one of Portland’s power elite, Len Bergstein of Northwest Strategies. The distinctive shape fits the space perfectly, and a leaf can be added to accommodate more clients.
Bergstein, another repeat customer, has dedicated a significant amount of his practice to green clients. We’re glad to see he walks the talk by filling his life with furniture made of home-grown, FSC certified materials.

Custom Bamboo Cash Desk for Hip PDX Salon
Hello Gorgeous and we're not just talking the desk! IF Green was recently hired by the fabulous hair salon with that name in Northwest Portland to design a reception desk for their expanded salon space. The salon owners were frustrated with the boxy designs they had received thus far and knew there was someone out there that shared their sense of style.
Our designer, Stephen Becker, combined Amber Bamboo with 3-Form accents to create a two-person desk with ample storage that is functional, beautiful and complies with federal ADA standards. Say good-bye to the blah reception desk and hello, gorgeous.

"The Fletcher" Sustainable Media Credenza
Not only is this piece beautiful and functional, it has a great story. It is made from unused portions of structural beams that, up until recently, were headed for the dumpster. These pieces of "glu-lam", or glued laminated timber are manufactured by bonding high-stength, kiln-dried lumber with waterproof adhesives. A company in Portland now sells the unused pieces for flooring.
We liked the look so much that we are now using it in furniture. This entertainment credenza houses a TV, audio equipment and plenty of room for CD and DVD storage. It is durable and something that looks better in a home or office than in a garbage can.
